I want to help you move forward

ABOUT

Qualifications

I have worked professionally in somatics and body-based practices for over 15 years. My approach is grounded in evidence-based methods and oriented toward practical emotional change. My previous work included running a myofascial bodywork practice, offering neurofeedback, training in Northwestern herbal medicine, and certification in both yoga and laughter yoga. I also facilitated breathwork for individuals and groups.

Since 2023, I have focused specifically on helping clients to resolve emotional patterns, through adding training in Clinical EFT and the Grief Recovery Method. I have integrated all of my skills into a structured somatic coaching process, which has proven to be the most effective approach I’ve found for supporting long-term clarity, confidence, and self-agency.

My Story
Untitled design - 2025-04-22T114936_edit

My path into somatic and grief recovery work was not initially a professional decision, it was a personal necessity. I have endured multiple experiences of loss, trauma, and serious physical health challenges, each one compelling me to face the profound emotional and physical strain that accompanies such events. Life, in its relentless way, pushed me to my limits, and despite undergoing various forms of therapy, nothing seemed to provide the relief I needed to feel at peace.

Over the years, I pursued many approaches: crying, journaling, movement, screaming, waiting, pretending, faking it(til you make it) distraction, new age, spirituality, meditation, plant medicines, ceremonies, loads of therapies, you name it- odds are good I've tried it. Some things offered temporary relief; most did not, and some actually made things worse. Stress and emotional  dysregulation remained a constant backdrop in my life and I knew there had to be a better way to live.

That came when I recognized that my emotional state wasn’t just grief, it was a sign of unresolved trauma and chronic physiological overwhelm.

I continued searching until I found the evidence-based, body-centered methods that addressed the root issues within my nervous system and brain patterns. Somatic work, nervous system regulation, and structured grief recovery have allowed me to process what once felt like an unmanageable mountain and I was finally able to begin rebuilding internally.

I now share these focused, effective approaches that support clarity, resilience, and relief from emotional distress. When not working or deepening my studies, you’ll find me listening to good music, walking in nature, tending my plants, or watching an episode of Star Trek. These moments of joy and presence are at the core of both my life and my work, and they are just as much a practice for me as is the regulation work I do. A balanced life is a dance, and in many ways is also a myth. For me, recovery has meant learning how to become dynamic and flexible in my self and in my expectations. I hope to help connect others with this highly effective methodology so they can can feel better and more connected in their lives too.

May you be well. May you be safe. May you be happy. May you be healthy. May you live with ease.
